Admission

• Eligibility: (a) The Minimum age for Admission shall be 15 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. (b) The maximum age for Admission is 35 years. (c) The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of Secondary certificate, 10th Class or Central Board education or a recognized equivalent public examination. Subjects of study equivalent to those prescribed by the C.B.S.E. for the Class X with minimum 45% marks. (d) Admission is subjected to satisfactory, medical examination report.

• Admission Process: As per the Academic merit.

• Reservation of Seats: As per Punjab Govt. policy.

GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Course

Admission

1. Eligibility:
   (a) Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively on or
   before 31 st December of the year of admission.
   (b) Minimum Educational qualification;
   (i) 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with Science (Physics ,Chemistry and Biology) subjects with aggregate of 40% marks.
   (ii) Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course( revised from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council)
   (iii) ANM training i.e. 10+1 1/2 years training should also have passed equivalent examination.
   (iv) Students shall be medically fit
   (v) In addition to the above ,admission procedure can be laid down by State Nursing Council. Examination Boards (S.I.B.E. ,M.I.B. , C.M.A.I.)

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing [P.B.B.Sc.(N)] Course

   Memo No. 2/107-3HB III/3678 dated 11/06/08 at Chandigarh. Duration: Two (2) years regular course.

Admission:

1. Eligibility:
   
   a) Passed, Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission. And
   
   b) Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council. A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course being register d as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council + two years experience in any area. Admission Process: As per the merit of GNM ( General Nursing and Midwifery)
